"Damon!? Damon?! Where are you? You said you'd be meeting here." Delilah asked. It had been nearly thirty minutes since Damon and Delilah had promised to meet her by the forest edge so they could go over things in privacy. They weren't planning on going into the forest, but she started to wonder now where he may have gone. Something or someone may have held him up as she began to worry for him. She knew he wasn't likely in any kind of trouble as far as she knew, he knew how to avoid it and most likely protect himself with the magic from his wand.
She sighed as she waited a few minutes not hearing a response back. It was quiet in the forest, sure some creatures made some animal calls responding back and forth to each other. But there was no movement at all through the thick trees. Delilah decided that it was time to rest now as she sat down at one of the tree stumps near the edge of the forest. It had been apparently cut down a long time ago as the rings could be seen in the center. Delilah could at least guess that the tree was over a hundred years old from the amount of rings that it had.
"He always keeps his promise. I know that. It's not like him just to suddenly skip away. He knows how important these things are." She said to himsef trying to keep calm in hopes everything was alright. Though the fears of what could have happened to him kept coming into her mind. The fact that he could have been attacked, killed, beaten, lost, kidnapped any possibilities ran through her head. Now if he was gone, she was alone.
That made her feel even worse. She knew her werewolf half wasn't going to come any time soon, the night was young and the moon was only at a waning crescent. It hung over head in a silvery pallet as it glowed brightly to many it gave people comfort. But to Delilah and Damon it meant several other things, fear, death, the emotion of rage especially.
