Billie had always wanted to go into the Forbidden Forest, it was so well... forbidden. Couldn't they have called it something else? Something that would make people less tempted to go inside? She walked around the trees that started the forest, half expecting some prefect to come out of no where and yell at her. She wouldn't be surprised. She always seemed to get snuck up on right when she was about to do something wrong. Her mother was the best at it. It was like her sixth sense was knowing when Billie or one of her brothers was about to do something wrong. She took a few steps into the forest, enjoying all of the smells and the feeling she got inside of the forest. She always had a heightened sense of smell, and perfect vision. Her mother always said it was just a gift, but Billie was starting to think it was a gift from her father. She stepped over a fallen tree and thought more about what she knew. She could see, hear and smell everything perfectly. She was pretty strong. But during the full moon she blacked out completely and her whole body shut down. There was something weird about her and she finally wanted to know what it was.
It all linked back to her biological father, she knew it. She stepped up on the fallen tree and walked along the moss covered bark. She turned on her heel and felt the moss make her shoe slip and she landed on her butt, causing a loud OW to escape her mouth. She sat for a minute to get over the sharp pain and was so thankful that no one saw her fall onto the log.

He was lost, it was official, he had been here for 7 years and he still found himself lost in the deep dark depths of the schools inner most corners… okay maybe he was being a tad bit melodramatic and needed to calm down, but it was kind of hard to stay calm when he had absolutely no idea where he was. Well… he did have a vague idea of where he was…very vague. He knew he was in the forbidden forest. Which he guessed was a good start; I mean at least he knew that. Looking around Hunter tried to think about how he got himself into this particular predicament, and truth be told he really had no idea how this happened. One minute he was drinking some firewhiskey and occasionally making out with some 6th year Ravenclaw, and the next thing he knows they are taking off running in separate direction, him towards the forbidden forest and her in some unknown direction.
He walked around aimlessly, occasionally stopping to look at a plant or something of that nature. He breathed in a deep breath. He loved the night, the stars, the darkness, and the moon. The moon was his favorite part. especially the full moon. With all it’s crazy and unpredicality (I think I made this word up…) of it, it was still his favorite. He was at his strongest on a full moon, literally invincible, and it was all thanks to his bastard, rolling stone of a father. He didn’t know much about the man, other than what his mother had told him, and that was just the bad things. But he as much as he didn’t want to admit it, he was curious.
He looked down at his watch seeing how much time was lost. It was officials he had been lost for an hour and a half now. It was starting to frustrate him quite a bit, his lack of knowledge of his location, and to state the truth didn’t know even know how he had wound up in this portion of the school. “Ugh…” he groaned, and just as the sound left his mouth he turned to see a girl slip and fall on her ass. He couldn’t help the laugh that left his mouth, nor could he stop laughing for the next few moments. Gathering himself together he ventured over there, “Are you okay?” he asked.

Billie stood up and rubbed her sore ass, thankfully she changed out of her Hufflepuff uniform, she was in skinny jeans, a white long sleeved shirt with a deep vneck and dark boots with a slight heel. She would probably curse those shoes as soon as she got back to the dorm. Something with the fireplace and a couple charms to heat up the flames more to completely devour the leather shoes. When she heard someone laughing, she got a little scared about what else was in the forbidden forest. When she realized that it was another student laughing his ass off over her fall. She sat back down on the log and looked up at him, she didn't know him, so probably not in Hufflepuff.
She knew that most of the time people assumed Hufflepuffs were kinda stupid. There was a difference between patient and airhead. She was pretty smart and hardworking, it was just going to be difficult for this guy to take her seriously after watching her fall so hard.
When he finally managed to catch his breath from his laughing fit she smiled a little and stood back up, "Yeah, I'm okay." She looked around the forest a little bit more, "What brings you out here?" There was something about him that made her feel like she knew him. Something very familiar about the way he smelled or the way he looked. It was going to drive her crazy until she figured out why these people she was meeting suddenly made her feel like she knew them.

“Are you sure? That was a hell of a fall you took,” he said, the remnants of his laughter still sitting on his face. Hunter looked the girl over, making sure she was indeed alright; he’d hate to be held liable in the event that she wasn’t. He had never seen her before… but that didn’t really mean much, if you weren’t hot, a seventh year, or a Slytherin, chances are you aren’t going to register very high or at all on his radar. But still there was something oddly familiar about her. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but it was almost like a feeling of déjà vu.
“Oh you know… just enjoying the night air and all that jazz,” he smirked, stuffing his hands in his pockets casually. He felt the flask in his pocket, and pulled it out taking a sip of it. As the firewhiskey slid over his tongue and down his throat he remembered the first time he had had some. A few years ago, he had been 13 maybe, and he and this girl, what her name was he couldn’t remember, not that it mattered anymore, had stolen a bottle from his uncle and snuck down to the pond down by his house. God how it had burned… the drink… when it went down, however it had certainly made the night interesting
“What about you querido? What are you doing all the way out here in the land of the forbidden?” He paused thinking over what he had just asked, “Better yet, what are you doing up this late.” It wasn’t that late… just past 11:30 at night, but still it was kind of late. He sat on the log that she had just tripped over, and offered her the flask, “Want some?” he asked.

Billie smiled and laughed, "Yes, I'm sure. You get this worried about every Hufflepuff you come by or am I just special." She was teasing of course, he seemed a little too familiar for it to be flirting. It almost felt like he would be one of her brothers' friends or something. That would be the best way to think about him. Keep herself from getting into too much trouble. When he pulled out a flask, she had to smile. Not too many Hufflepuffs were willing to break rules like that, but it was something she rather enjoyed.
She took the flask from him and took a sip of it, enjoying the way it burned her mouth and throat. The cinnamon and the alcohol was amazing going down her throat and made her whole body warm up instantly. "Just came out here to think, there were too many people everywhere else. People avoid this place, so it seemed like the best place to go." She handed him back his flask and sat down next to him, sure, not many people would accept a flask from a random person but with the way she had been feeling lately, she needed just a night of not caring anymore.
She handed him back his flask and smiled over at him, "I'm Billie by the way, Billie Hawthorne." She looked out into the darkness of the forest. "You come out here to drink often?" Then again heading out to the Forbidden Forest might not be a big deal for Slytherins, they sometimes seemed to do whatever they wanted around the school. No area off limits and no risk too great.

His smirk grew, “Just the ones I like,”
[/color] he said with a small laugh. It wasn’t said flirtatiously or with any sexual innuendo behind it, and that surprised him. Hunter had the habit of flirting with just about everything with a vagina with the intent on sleeping with them. But he had absolutely no desire to sleep with her, not that she wasn’t a beautiful girl, because she was he just wasn’t attracted to her in the slightest. He meant it when he said he liked her. Not in that ‘I like you, do you like me’ kind of way, but in the… he didn’t really know how to explain it… he just liked her. He handed her the flask, a bit surprised that she took it from him. Most Huffepuffs weren’t that rebellious, but then again, he didn’t know many Huffepuffs, so he couldn’t really say. “Well…it is the Forbidden Forest, the Forbidden part of the title seems to drive people away, for some reason.” He took the flask back from her and took another sip. “Greyback, Hunter Greyback,” He responded. She looked like a Billie he supposed. He often played that game; deciding if someone's name "fit" their face or personality. If it didn't fit, he would run through other alternatives, trying to find a better name. That wouldn't be necessary for this person in particular, though. This Billie just seemed to be an "Billie." Her parents should be offered a congratulations. Her voice broke him out of his thoughts, “I do, when the urge strikes…or the quidditch pitch is otherwise occupied.” “So you came out here to think? Think about what? And why the Forbidden forest, it doesn’t seem like the place for a Hufflepuff to come for some R&R.” He asked playfully wiggling his eyebrows at her. Like her brothers. That's how it felt sitting with him, with the warmth of the fire whiskey spreading through her body and a slight smile on her face, she felt like she was back home with her brothers. She nudged his shoulder when he made that comment about being on that he liked, somehow she knew it wasn't in a sexually interested in her sort of a way. Already she felt like she could be comfortable with him. "I think the Forbidden part makes people desperate to see why it's so bad." Least that was why she was there. She always felt at home in a forest and the forbidden one would have normally provided her with the seclusion that she needed.
Greyback? She was pretty positive that was the name of a notorious werewolf who sided with the Dark Lord during the war. At least that's what she read about in her History textbook. "Greyback? As in Fenir?" She asked, not trying to sound judgmental over who his father was. She wanted to learn more about the werewolf to maybe even track him down and find out if he was her father.
She laughed when he wiggled his eyebrows at her and smiled at him, "Too many loud noises sometimes gives me a headache. The forest is quiet and people tend to stay away." She loved all of the smells in the forest and since her hearing was pretty amazing, she was able to hear anything that would try to come up and kill her. Like the centaurs that people swore lived in there.

Hunter smiled as she nudged his shoulder with his own, and playfully nudged her back. He was enjoying her company, which was a bit odd. I mean a Slytherin and Hufflepuff? Really? Those two houses were on the two opposite ends when it came their personalities. He couldn’t explain the connection he was feeling with her, but he liked it, and would definitely seek her out in the future. Not in public of course… he did have a reputation to maintain. He nodded in agreement, “That’s true… the air of mystery surrounding the place does make it that more intriguing.”
He frowned at the mention of his father’s name. “The one and only…” he said bitterly, “Do you have the misfortune of knowing him?” Hunter had grown up hearing the stories how Fenir Greyback had seduced his mother the night of her debutante ball, made her think he loved her, and left as soon as she had gotten pregnant. He couldn’t lie, he wanted to know more about the man. But he was scared. The stories and the names his mom would say about his father… none of them painted the man in a very flattering light, nor did they look upon werewolves very well. It was one of the reasons he wasn’t particularly fond of his werewolf side. But he would never let anyone know that.
His smile grew hearing her laugh, and nodded, “I got you… sometimes you just gotta get away.” He could relate to that. As much as he hated being left alone, there were times when he just had to escape the general population and be by himself. Of course it never lasted too long… the quiet would eventually freak him out and he’d have to seek out people again. Realizing that he might be intruding on her alone time he moved to stand up, “I’m messing up your quiet time aren’t I? I can leave if you want.”

She inwardly winced when he confirmed that Fenir Greyback was his father. She was sure that it was a sensitive issue, if Greyback was as terrible as everyone said he was, she was sure no one would want to admit to being his child. "To be honest, I have no idea." She sighed slightly, "Everyone I talk to says that it would make the most, but I have no idea, my mom was attacked and it led to me." She didn't tell a lot of people that she was a child of rape, but for some reason she felt comfortable around Hunter. Even if her mother was raped, she wanted to get to know the man. Find out if it really was him who attacked her mother. She wanted to know if she was half werewolf and what that meant for her future.
Billie knew that she said that she came here to be left alone, but she was actually enjoying her time with Hunter. He seemed like a nice enough guy, well, for a Slytherin. "I'm actually enjoying your company, you're a pretty nice guy, for a Slytherin." She was kidding about that, well, kinda. She knew most Slytherins were assholes. "You don't have to go." She actually didn't want to be alone anymore. Plus, she was not looking forward to walking back to the castle alone now that it was so dark in the forest.
That was something that sucked about the winter, it got dark way too early. She could always see pretty well in the dark, so it really didn't bother her. She knew it was strange to be spending so much time with Greyback kids lately, but it seemed like they were nice guys, both Hunter and Damon. She really wanted to find out how many of the Greybacks were running around the school. Hell, how many were running around the world. From the sound of it, Fenir was a manwhore.

Hunter listened to her story with mild surprise. If his father raped her mother and it led to Billie that meant… "That bastard…” he muttered. He had a sister, well another sister. He wasn’t exactly sure how he was supposed to react to finding out that he had another sibling. Honestly he wasn’t all that surprised, if the stories his mother told proved to be true, he probably had a half a million siblings running around the world. He really couldn’t blame the man for sleeping around, he wasn’t really much better when it came to whoring himself out. That was like the pot calling the kettle black. But he could be upset that the man had left God knows how many children fatherless. That… that was something he couldn’t forgive. Subsequently he did learn one thing from the man; he learned that he wouldn’t never…could never not be there for his kid, no matter how much he hated the mother. He’d be a good father, he knew that at least.
He shook his head to clear his thoughts and focused his attention on his newly found sister, “You know what this means right… that you could be my….” He let the sentence trail off at the end feeling like it didn’t really need to be said, when they both new it was true. It certainly explained the sense of kinship he felt between them. When he was younger he had always wanted a sibling. At the time he wanted a little brother, and the one he got was vastly different from the one he envisioned. He supposed he could use another sister in his life.
Hunter couldn’t help the huge grin that spread across his face as she said that she enjoyed his company. His smile transformed into a smirk at the rest of her words, “And you’re not so bad for a Hufflepuff. I mean who knew you guys had a backbone. I expected you to jump at the sight of your shadow…and well here we are.” He supposed he shouldn’t really be that shocked, houses didn’t define people, and sometimes the sorting hat was wrong. “So… Billie, what year are you?”

She felt a weird feeling go through her when the look of realization went over Hunter's face. She didn't want to get either of their hopes up in case she wasn't a Greyback kid. "That's the problem, I don't know. The man who raped my mom only growled a lot, the police thought she was lying. All I know about myself is that every month during the full moon, I'm in living hell. I feel things changing but only slightly. Enough to make everything shut down and keep everything internalized. I don't know who I am." It never bothered her before but now that she was meeting people who could be her brothers, it was like something all new to her. Her mother never fully bounced back from what happened, hell her husband left her for her. Billie always wanted to be the perfect daughter to make up for what happened to her mother. She never asked about her father out of fear of making everything worse for her.
She leaned her head against his shoulder, "Don't get your hopes up, I don't know enough about him to be sure, there are tons of werewolves running around England." She felt a kinship with him, and would probably want to keep spending time with him to keep feeling that connection. She missed her brothers while she was at school. If she could spend time with Hunter, that might make everything a little better when she was homesick.
Billie laughed and picked her head up when he made his little observation about Hufflepuffs, "Oh trust me, some of us are. But mainly it's just a loyalty thing. We'll defend our friends to the end of time." At least that was what the hat told her when she was a little eleven year old. She was almost in Ravenclaw, but the hat decided that she was patient and loyal enough to be in Hufflepuff. "I'm a sixth year. I just turned sixteen this summer."
