Kyubok sipped his coffee, enjoying the warmth it spread into his whole body. Sometimes when it was snowy outside there was nothing better than a warm cup of coffee and his favorite vice in life, new books. Some might say he enjoyed coffee too much and that would be considered another addiction, but he worked in a hospital so he had to stay up at random hours and get by on very little sleep. He held open the door for an elderly couple coming out of the giant bookstore, smiling when they thanked him. He was generally a nice guy, so helping people came natural to him. Probably explains why he became a Healer at St. Mungo's. He walked into the bookstore, taking off his scarf with his free hand since the store was much warmer. Kyubok went up to the new release section and sipped his coffee, looking over the titles. he was on a new schedule now that he was on a different floor he had much more time during the day for himself. He reached for a bright red book, interested in the cover. He took a sip of his coffee and started to read the book while walking. To most average people this could be done with ease. For Kyubok Park? It would end with a trip down the three stairs that led to the children's section. His coffee spilled onto his pants and the book went flying out of his hands.

This was complicated, she had seemed to have the wakeup called she needed and was no longer the doormat she had been for the past six and a half years of life. Freya had attitude now, of course, she was still a favourite with the students but she had a bite and it was worse than her bark. A slight smile rested upon her lips as she looked around at everything. It was hard to believe that it everything had changed. The free time that she had, she was using to walk around London, this place was her second home during the holidays. The bustle of it offered her a security blanket, in a strange sense she felt safe within the tall buildings. There was no stress in her life, she was still the normal bookworm and lived in the library when she wanted to on her own but she used only think about that. She was not afraid of not passing, she was confident she could pass her teaching years without having to neglect everything in her life. Looking down into her bag, she pulled her purse from within its confines and stopped for a moment checking something before she continued to walk.
Not knowing what she needed, she continued her walk through the large city looking very at home within the city. Everything had been hectic when she had arrived home to surprise her parents for a visit, then it turned into a family reunion with her older sisters coming to visit. A smile resting upon her lips, Freya ran a hand through her hair currently flowing down her shoulders in its usual waves; she blew a piece of her fridge off her face. Walking into the book shop she looked around and moved around the familiar place. The next thing she knew what was happen, she waved her hand without uttering a word to stop a book from hitting her in the face. “You know , you should be more careful.” She chuckled.

When the hot coffee hit him, he almost yelped out in pain but when he remembered that he was in a crowded place with people staring, he refused to look like a complete idiot. The coffee burned slightly, but thankfully he used enough of the creamer to take away the sting. When someone told him that would would be best to be careful, he almost started to yell or give back a snide comment out of the immediate shock of falling like an idiot, but when he realized it was a kind voice with a little bit of a laughing musical quality, he was able to bite back his comment and just attempt to wipe off some of the liquid from his jacket.
Kyubok looked up and saw a beautiful girl who was almost attacked face first by the latest hardback from Rolf Scamander. His cheeks turned a little pink and he couldn't believe this was happening, "I think that would have been helpful to remember before I attacked you with a book and myself with cinnamon coffee." He grinned weakly and stood up, his shirt and jacket covered with the delicious and good smelling beverage. He smiled at her and knew that she was drop dead gorgeous. He pushed his thick rimmed glasses up his nose and smiled at her again, almost forgetting his own name is introduce himself, "I'm Kyubok by the way, Kyubok Park." He held his hand out for her to shake and smiled at her.

Freya found herself smiling softly at the stranger, but she was in a good mood and the way she was feeling nothing could bring that down. It was hard to believe that it had been two years since she had begun teaching at Hogwarts. It only felt like yesterday that she was graduating from the place. If she did not have fast reflexes or be powerful in charms after three years of studying it at a masters level then she would be in one pissed off mood. Luckily, that was not the case.
“Pleasure to meet you Kyubok, I’m Freya Phillips.” She chuckled as she shook his hand and was rather shocked when she felt a spark go through her hand and up her arm. Tilting her head slightly and coughing, she pulled her hand away. Freya pulled out her wand and waved it to the coffee off his clothes. “Now that should clear that up, but I’m afraid the nice smell will stay.” Freya once more chuckling. Was she actually flirting? “So what brings you in here?” She asked, she was curious, she let her eyes scan the Charms shelf for a book that she knew she did not have in her collection. Freya took a hold of one and glanced at the back of it for a moment, and then turning her attention back to Kyubok, she found herself smiling once more. There was something about him that just seemed sweet and lovely. Those types of people were sometimes rare.

Kyubok had to admit, she was beautiful. Even her name was gorgeous, "Freya Phillips, beautiful name." He knew that name somewhere. He tried to think about where he heard it before. He was so lost in thought, trying to remember where he heard that name that he didn't even realize that he had magic too and easily could have dried his own clothes. "Thank you Freya," he laughed slightly and could still smell the cinnamon, "Eh, I like the smell enough." He smiled at her and walked with her to the Charms section, why did that seem to click in his head, "You're the Charms professor at Hogwarts, aren't you?" Aaaaand now he was pretty sure he was coming across like a stalker, "My sister is one of your students, she mentioned you a few times." The last thing he wanted was to scare her away and mess up what was turning into a nice conversation.
He scanned over the various titled in the charms section, he used to love Charms class when he was at school, it was probably one of the reasons why he went into Healing. There was a lot of overlap, well, that and Potions.
