A person's house tell a lot of about them- this is no different with Rosalie. She loves learning and reading just about everything she can get her hands on. If she hears about something she doesn't know about, you'll find her later that day in the library doing research on it as if she was writing an essay. Learning is also something that she's good at- Rosalie has a knack for remembering dates and incantations and she can pick up skills pretty quickly.

Rosalie enjoys being by herself a lot of the time. She does like having some friends, but you won't find her with them 24/7. She likes doing things on her own and knows that sometimes she can be a bit fickle and stubborn about a lot of things so she tries her best not to hurt their feelings. That's one of the reasons she doesn't tend to get too close to people and sometimes pushes them away- she doesn't want to hurt them. She is a good friend though- she'll stick up for them, give them honest opinions, and also listen to what they have to say- but it'll be known if she doesn't agree with it.

Sometimes, she can be a bit self-centered. She is often thinking about herself and her own problems. She doesn't want them affect anyone else as they have affected her life. Rosalie can also be pretty short-tempered. You don't want to get on her bad side or you'll probably end up in an argument- whether she's defending a friend or acquaintance, or debating about a few choice topics (house elves, treatment or werewolves, etc.).

Overall History:
Rosalie Victoria Greyback was born on the cloudy day of January eighteenth to her mother Rosalind. Her mother had been a close follower of Fenrir and when she became pregnant decided to change her last name to his despite what her close family had been telling her. They didn't like how close she had gotten, nor did they agree with her lifestyle and choices. Her sister, Natalia, tried to convince her to runaway, but she did not listen. Unfortunately, Rosalind did not survive the childbirth. Her sister, being a nurse, delivered the baby and claimed it as her own- giving her a name after her sisters.

She did not want any part of the involvement with Greyback, so she moved away to Belfast with the baby and never returned. She listened and watched for anyone who could possibly find them, but no one ever came. When Rosalie grew older, she became curious about her mother. She was always looking for photos or memorabilia- one day, she found a journal. It did not contain everything she wanted to know about her mother, but it contained quite a lot of insight on her and her life. She pleaded to take the greyback name and refused otherwise, even after hearing who it originally belonged to. Rosalie just wanted to feel closer to her mother- eventually, Natalia gave in.

Part of Rosalie always knew she wasn't normal- sometimes happened to her every month. Her aunt had to explain it to her and she did quite a bit of research on the subject. It was definitely hard to grow up with- being part werewolf. She had partial transformations every month that her aunt helped her through- her aunt also gave her a potion to make the situation better. She knew it was just something she was going to have to live with- no matter how much she hated it. And how much she hated keeping it to herself.

Later that year, Rosalie received her letter to Hogwarts where she excitedly went. She had always loved learning- she was fascinated with anything and everything there had to do with magic; ever since she was little when strange things started happening, it had been her dream to go and be placed in the same house as her mother. When she arrived at Hogwarts, she was placed into Ravenclaw. Of course, this was not her mother's house, but she knew there was no way around it. She was sad, but she knew that Ravenclaw really was the right house for her and she grew to love it. She, of course, never stopped trying to learn more about her mother, or what she did in Slytherin, but she knew one day she would get closer. Her favorite subject is Transfiguration- as she always seemed to have a knack for it and her favorite spots at Hogwarts include the owlery and library.
