"8.30 is fine." she said. The minute Meleny said that she heard her name being called. "I know. I don't want to leave but I have to. Work and such." she said. She wondered what she was being called to do. She hated the loudspeaker. It was useful but what the heck was she given a pager for if they were just going to call her over the loudspeaker. She couldn't wait to get off work. She leaned close to Nikolai so he could hug or kiss her, whichever he wanted to do in order to tell her goodbye until their date that night. "I'll be ready for you." she said with a smile.

Nikolai stood up with her and gave her another hug. He loved feeling her pressed against him. It was almost impossible to let her go and he knew that if he had his choice, they would just go out from there.
"Try not to get stuck here too long, I can't wait for tonight." He couldn't wait until he picked her up that night to show her an absolutely wonderful time. He let her go and placed another small kiss on her cheek before letting go completely.
"I'll see you later, Meleny." he picked up their empty coffee cups and left the building.
